The KN-12 sniper rifle was produced by Makine ve Kimya for the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces. KN12 is a multi-caliber sniper rifle. Conversion of caliber 8.6/7.62 is carried out in a matter of minutes by replacing the barrel, mechanism and magazine. A sniper rifle with a longitudinally sliding rotary bolt, provides high accuracy of fire at a distance of up to 1500 meters in .338 caliber, and up to 1000 m in .308 caliber, and is ergonomic. The main parts of the rifle are made of metal and impact-resistant composite material. The sniper rifle consists of a three-chamber muzzle brake-compensator, barrels with a threaded muzzle for mounting a muzzle brake compensator or a device for reducing sound, a Picatinny rail (for installing an optical sight, a pre-objective device).
