The new KMG762 light machine gun and its variants are a consistent evolution of the proven KMG556 chambered in 7.62mm x 51 NATO caliber. Wherever firepower is required, the range and penetration of the 7.62 caliber KMG762 cartridge will be the weapon of choice. The features and operating principles, as well as the controls and muscle memory, are identical to the KMG556 due to the fact that it uses the same shell as the KMG556. This principle guarantees the same conditions for the user and ease of maintenance. The KMG762 is excellent to handle and operate due to its light weight, compact size and central balance point.
