A sapper’s ballistic helmet is an element of a sapper’s protective suit. Designed to protect people when clearing explosive objects from the damaging factor of an explosion, shock wave, thermal effects, and metal fragments of ammunition.
- Ballistic sapper helmets are made of composite materials providing protection according to BR 2 class. The visor is made of multilayer acrylic and polycarbonate material according to BR 1 protection class. The visor is attached to the helmet in two ways:
- due to an external metal arc
- circular metal neck mount
The optical properties of the visor provide the ability to orient the user when wearing the product. During mine clearance and shelling, the level of head injury does not exceed the permissible value. Helmets, complete with a sapper protective suit, provide all-round head protection.
