This new member of the SAR9 family includes innovations such as a lighter trigger, a slot on the slide that allows the use of red dot sights, and a removable slot cover. These features, which offer the user a variety of options, allow shooting with a classic sight and front sight set, as well as the use of optical sights. Featuring an ergonomic and aesthetic design, the SAR9 Gen2 trigger is made from high-strength 7075 T6 series aluminum, which is also used in the aircraft industry. In the SAR9 GEN2 version, the magazine capacity is also increased to 19 rounds.
